ARThouse – Richmond Open Studios

Abstract in Blue for ARThouse

One of  my Wall Plaques on sale at Open Studios

After much anticipation and hard work all round, ARThouse Richmond Open Studios takes place over the next 2 weekends:  26th – 28th June and 3rd – 5th July. There are over 500 artists taking part spread over the Royal Borough of Richmond in 110 venues.

I am displaying my mosaic art in the Harris + Hoole Coffee Shop at 135 St. Margarets Road, right by St. Margarets Station.  They very kindly put my mosaics up on display a few weeks ago so you can view my mosaics there any time from now until the end of the event.

I will be demonstrating mosaic making on both Sundays, all day. Do pop along, invite your friends, have a coffee and one of their delish cakes or lunches, learn about mosaic making and then go and visit other artists in the surrounding areas.

Having exhibited and demonstrated a few times before, it really is lovely when people come along and ask questions and show an interest in what I do. People are always amazed at how contemporary my mosaics are given it is such an ancient art form. If you really like what you see, you can always book a mosaic beginners lesson. I will be offering special rates to anyone that books a lesson through the Open Studios event.

REQUEST: Please spread the word on Open Studios and more importantly, COME ALONG.
